China, the world’s largest producer of electronic devices, manufactures products that are not only cost-effective but often incorporate more advanced and sophisticated technologies than those used by Western competitors.
A recent study revealed that China can convert over 90% of its new civilian technologies into military applications. In response, the United States has imposed sanctions on more than 1,000 Chinese enterprises, with the number steadily increasing over the last decade.
However, the study also found that these sanctions have unintentionally accelerated the integration of China’s civilian and military industries. More here…
