EU Regulations Ban Home Baked Cakes From Christmas Market

Farm wives are no longer allowed to sell home baked cakes at a Christmas market in northern Germany. According to EU regulations from 2007, the cakes must be baked in a certified kitchen. Additionally, the bakers need a health certificate, and the sellers must undergo hygiene training. But that’s not all. For each recipe, a folder containing all additives or allergens must be available. More here (in German)
